This ultrasound registry review course is designed for preparation for the Sonography Principles and Instrumentation (SPI) registry exam.  Sections include: General Information, Production of Sound Waves, Interaction of Sound with Matter, Doppler Techniques, Hemodynamics, Transducer Structure and Function, Pulsed and Continuous Wave Techniques, Information Processing Storage and Display, 2D and Doppler Artifacts, QA and QC and Bioeffects.

Goals for the Course:
  • To assist Sonographers in obtaining their ARDMSŪ certification.
  • To provide a complete review of the necessary information a Sonographer should have mastered in order to obtain the certification.
  • To provide Sonographers with a review course that can be easily revised as the field changes.
